Though it's renown to be the largest resort on Montenegrin coast, reminiscent of socialism era makes it harder to introduce the new and completely overhauled interior and exterior. Main goal was to make new brand identity and website that helps to change the image of the hotel towards both younger and older population.
Mediteran Hotel is located in the tourist settlement of Bečići, just 2 km from Budva. In 2008, the hotel was awarded the Wild Beauty Award for the best hotel, contributing to the improvement of Montenegro’s tourist offer with its quality. Just 100 m from the hotel, there is a beautiful sand beach, which in 1936 and 1971 received the Grand Prix for the most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean.
Biggest challenge was to keep the form of old logo which resembles motifs of golden sand, adriatic waves and big blue sky - all with modern and applicable shape.
Website redesign had to be completely and uniquely made from scratch, with integration of booking system. Based on provided copywriting, we've prepared content packed into a shape that became instant trend-setter in the region.
New official hotel brochure had to achieve the impression of premium resort at the first glance. Alongside hotel's guests, target audience for this brochure were those that are interested in conference events and celebrations. We decided to use cotton paper combined with golden foil back with golden foil stamped symbol on the front page.
Back in the summer of 2017, just upon the launch of the new visual identity and website, Montenegrin riviera was introduced to billboards presenting the hotel's unique value: private beach.
Business cards had to follow the new premium design and materials used on all other graphic products of the new identity: cotton paper and hand-stamped golden foil, combined with blind-stamped hotel's pattern.
